Employee Spotlight: October 2016

October Employee of the Month

Business Consumer Alliance’s Employee of the Month for October is Patti Craig.  Patti is our Controller and has been with our organization since September 2014.  Patti has a variety of duties, but most notably they include processing our employee payroll and maintaining our accounting records to ensure they are accurate and timely.  She also deals with building-related matters and has a great relationship with our outside vendors.

Kiry Peng, President and CEO, has this to say about Patti, “All of our staff appreciates interacting with Patti.  She’s very meticulous and organized, which are all fine attributes of a Controller, and she has a pleasant disposition.  I know I can depend on her in getting the job done in a timely manner.”

Patti’s favorite hobbies include golf, swimming, experimenting with new recipes, and playing fantasy football and baseball.  She was born and raised in Wisconsin and is a true Cheesehead.  She loves any food that has cheese in it and enjoys pairing it with a Miller Lite or two. 

Patti and her husband are avid sports fans and in their spare time, you can catch them watching Milwaukee Brewer and Los Angeles Angels baseball games in the spring and following her Green Bay Packers for football in the fall.  Outside of watching sports, they’re both trying to save every homeless cat they can find.  Every organization has “that one cat person” and we can claim Patti as ours.

When asked about what the most fulfilling part about working for BCA is, Patti replied, “This is, without a doubt, the most positive work environment I have ever been in.  My position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and multi-tasking, and I have a great sense of accomplishment when I can contribute to the success of my fellow co-workers by keeping things running smoothly on the financial end.”  Spoken like a true team player.
