New Frontier Communications Customers Out of Service

watching TV

Frontier Communications’ customers that have been switched over from Verizon have reported a few hiccups during the transition. Among the issues customers are having, many face long periods of time without service, while others are left on hold, waiting for the company to provide assistance.

Verizon sold its FiOS and DSL operations in California, Florida, and Texas to Frontier. The switch took place on April 1, 2016, and left many customers without Internet or phone service, while others are not receiving the television channels that they subscribe to. Several customers have alleged that customer service is unhelpful or customers have to wait hours on hold for assistance.

Business Consumer Alliance has received some complaints from unhappy customers seeking simply to have their service restored or have Frontier address their concerns. We have successfully mediated complaints with Frontier in the past and continue to do so. In some cases the company has responded to complaints by restoring services and providing bill credits for the time the services were unavailable.

Are you a Frontier customer who has experienced problems with billing or service that you have been unable to resolve directly? BCA encourages you to use our mediation services. Start by filing your complaint here and let us communicate the problem to the company. Or, if you just want to write your review on the company, we welcome those as well.
