Employee Spotlight: July 2016

Business Consumer Alliance’s Employee of the Month for July is Dee Rehome.  Dee is our Human Resources Director and has been with BCA since January 2006.  Some of her duties include listening and addressing HR-related matters, staying up-to-date on state and federal employment laws to ensure our organization is in compliance, administrating our 401(k) plans and insurance policies for our employees, and emceeing our annual holiday luncheon.

Kiry Peng, President and CEO, has this to say about Dee, “The role of HR isn’t typically seen as the most glamorous position of any company, but Dee does a fantastic job of ensuring that all of our employees’ issues are addressed thoroughly and expediently.  She also does a great job of reminding our staff of the many benefits and company perks we have to offer so they can take full advantage of them.  I’m pleased to have her as part of the BCA family.”

Dee likes reading mysteries on her Kindle in her spare time. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and close friends over an amazing meal accompanied by excellent wine. When asked what her most fulfilling part of working for BCA is, Dee replied, “I receive much satisfaction when I am able to help our employees.  It is a great feeling to find resolution to a problem that initially seemed insurmountable.  It’s one of the main reasons why I got into the H.R. field 30+ years ago.  I also like knowing that I work for a company that exists to assist the general public and businesses.”
