Complained about faxing instead of emailing information then became abusive

I was called by one of their collection agents about a contract I entered into. When I expressed no knowledge of the contract, I asked that the contract be faxed to me. The agent became belligerent and said that email was easier and he could do it right now, instead of having to 'walk across the room, wait for the fax, then walk back to make sure the fax went through. I told him that I would not give him my email address because I did not want to receiving dunning messages from him or his company. He blew his top when I would not release the information he wanted. He became belligerent and said that he would see me in court. I suspect it's a scam, but have no way of knowing if I owe the money because he would not fax me the document as I requested. Anyone else have this problem?

Harassing collection agents who operate against policy

These folks are very harassing and insulting. Don't use them if you would like to retain any of your clients.
