DON'T USE THIS GUY!!!

This guy is running a total scam!!! His business license expired in 2010, but he masquerades as a bonded, licensed, and insured pool guy who has been running his own pool company since he graduated high school! The true story is that he branched out on his own 7 years ago. He will take money from you for pool service and not show up! If you question him he always an excuse as to why he wasn't there and even went so far as to play my husband and I against each saying that one of us cancelled the service that day to whichever one of us was questioning him. Additionally, after not showing up for 3 weeks he left dirt and worms in the bottom of our pool refusing to vacuum it! When we asked him about it he lost his temper stating "that people who question his service don't pay and he wouldn't clean our pool anymore!" After what seemed like a misunderstanding we continued on for another month where he only came once and threatened to sue us if we didn't pay for that months service. We paid him just to get rid of him. Probably the most gut wrenching thing that happened was that he took advantage of us and played on our emotions when we had just moved into out dream home. He was cleaning the pool when I had someone over to give an estimate on putting up a gate to keep out pool safe (we are the parents of an autistic four year old son). He overheard what was going on and offered to put in a mesh safety fence and claimed he had put in hundreds of these fences and was more than qualified to do the job. He led us to believe there was a mixup with ordering it from a manufacture, which we found out he had lied. There was no mix up he was able to pick up the parts at a local pool supply place. He would take more money from us and bring over a few pieces to make his story seem believable. He promised to be over to put it in multiple times but never called or showed up. After several times of this happening we confronted him on what the deal was...when he could no longer use the manufacturer story he said we had threatened him and he couldn't work under those conditions. This never even happened! He even went so far as to tell my husband I was being inappropriate with him and that's why he couldn't finish! That never happened either! Yuck! $2,000 later the real story is he took money for a fence he doesn't really know how to install and my patio looks like swiss cheese!! Ultimately, he bailed on the job! He also tried to talk us into doing several other handyman type projects! Don't hire this dirtbag and don't give him any money!!!!
