Optima tax is nothing but a scam

They lure you in with a salesperson who knows nothing about taxes, just to get your money. Then they stall for a year so they can do your next years taxes and hope they can find some money. When that doesn't work they offer you $350 to sign an agreement not to disparage the company. When you tell them you'll file a complaint with the BBB they laugh and say they don't care they'll just say they did offer you a $350 refund. Then they set up a payment plan with the irs that anyone could easily do themselves. I paid Optima 3k and after a year with interest and penalties from the IRS I owed roughly 2k more than when i contacted Optima in the first place. There are plenty of fake positive reviews online, read the negative ones- they all say the exact same thing- those are the ones to pay attention to
