Amazon subscribe and Save

Date: 6/21/2022 11:44 AM (PST)

I recently subscribe and Save from Amazon. However I just found out that if the prices go up while you're waiting for your next order you pay the difference. Is this Fair. I call it switch and bait it should be illegal because tarnishes the name of the program how can you save when you actually pay more later on. I want to know why Amazon does this this is unfair and I'm just trying to make people aware that's subscribe through this program that they are aware of it it defeats the purpose I call it subscribe and lose more money

Hello John. You echo what consumers across the country are thinking right now. We’re all feeling the pinch and when we hear a company is going to be increasing their subscription fees, it adds salt to the wound. I believe in regards to Amazon Subscribe and Save, the program benefits customers best that have regular deliveries and use a product frequently enough that having a subscription makes sense. If you only order occasionally and don’t need to re-order a product frequently then the Subscribe and Save feature is not for you.

The company’s FAQ page offers information about how Subscribe and Save works and how to cancel: https://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=15283820011
