Good Morning. Thank you for contacting Business Consumer Alliance. May I have additional information about the company so I can research the company. Preferably, I need an address, phone number and company website. Upon my research, I found several companies with the name Trinity Loans so I want to be sure the information I provide is about the company you are considering.

In general, there are factors everyone should consider when looking for a loan.

• Transparency. Loan terms are clear. A legitimate lender will provide you with a contract that outlines how much your loan is for, the fees you’ll pay, interest rate, total interest you’ll end up paying and what the penalty fees is if a payment is late.
• Credit check. A legitimate lender will run a credit check to see your credit history. Beware of lenders that say no credit check necessary or do not care what your credit score is.
• Website. Is the website secure. Most lenders encrypt the information you provide them online with 128-bit or 256-bit SSL. You want to be sure your personal information is kept safe and you should see a little padlock to confirm the site is secure.
• Customer Service. Look for customer support on the company website. You want to be certain that should an issue arise, you will have no problem contacting the company for support. The company should have customer support telephone numbers, email address, a physical address and even state licensing information on their website. For example, in California, loan companies must have a finance lender license with the Department of Business Oversight.
• Research. Conduct a Google search of the company name and see if there are any negative reviews or complaints about the company. Chances are, if someone had a negative experience, it’s been recorded somewhere. Pay particular attention to the types of complaints, and if there is a pattern.
