How do I find out who a business insurance co is to file a claim
Julie, thank you for reaching out to BCA. From what I understand, you want to know how to find out whom a business’ insurance company is to file a claim. Typically, the incident should be reported to the insurance company within 24 hours of the incident. You would then contact the insurance provider of the business or building owner and be prepared to provide information about the cause of the accident and the extent of your injuries or damage caused by the accident. A third party claim is one you file with the insurance provider of another person or business. If the company in question has not provided you with their insurance information willfully, then you may need to seek legal advice on how to proceed. An attorney will be able to answer any questions you have about your claim and your options for moving forward. In the meantime, you can file a complaint with BCA and we will be happy to reach out to the company and see if we can assist you in obtaining this information. Filing a complaint is quick, simple, and 100 free. Here is the link to filing a complaint on our website, http://www.checkbca.org/file-complaint or if you prefer you can contact our customer service department and one of our friendly, customer service reps will be happy to assist you over the phone.
