Emily, thank you for contacting Business Consumer Alliance. Unfortunately, returning a vehicle to a dealership is not easy. Returning the car would depend on several factors such as the state you purchased the car in and the dealership’s policies. So essentially, it is up to the dealer to unwind the deal. If there are problems with the vehicle, you may want to review your state’s lemon law: http://www.marylandattorneygeneral.gov/Pages/CPD/lemon.aspx You can file a complaint with BCA. This way your complaint against the dealership goes on record and the company is aware that you reached out to a third party for assistance. Filing a complaint with BCA is quick, simple and FREE: https://www.checkbca.org/file-complaint We’ll present the allegations in your complaint to the company, and ask that they address the allegations. As soon as we hear back from the dealer, you will be notified. I suggest filing a complaint with the Maryland Attorney General’s office as well: http://www.marylandattorneygeneral.gov/Pages/CPD/complaint.aspxPlease feel free to contact me directly at email@example.com if I can be of further assistance.
