Doctor patient conflict of interest

Date: 9/8/2021 8:17 AM (PST)

I have been seeing my doctor for a few years now she suddenly brought a personal issue with her son that had nothing to do with me into our doctor patient relationship and was very ugly to me at the clinic yelling & cursing at me and then when I come home she continued to carry on by message in my phone with this personal issue and being ugly to me with me trying to explain to her I have nothing to do with her son with that being sad. How do I address this situation to where I am able to see another doctor in the same clinic without any issues with her confrontation and my medical information and care. I also have MDS and going through lots of testing can she have any effect on this considering she's the one who's been my physician for years and the proper medical treatment for my disease is a new issue which is currently ongoing with underlying treatment and care. Im worried because of this I may not get the proper treatment for my terminal illness. How do I dress the situation.

Hello Wanda. Thank you for contacting our office. I’m sorry to hear of your situation with your doctor.

Complaints of unprofessional conduct by a physician should be reported to your state’s medical board. These types of allegations I assume would warrant some type of investigation. However, the Board would be able to advise what their procedures are and how they approach these types of situations. Please do express your concerns regarding your future treatment and care. The Board should be able to address this as well.

I can be reached directly at vantillon@checkbca.org if you have additional questions or concerns.

Do I make a complaint against the business corporation also or just the nurse practitioner in hand because I have contacted them and they are no assistance to me they won't give me no answers or understanding to why I said nurse practitioner was able to treat me in this manner I need assistance with my future medical needs and they're not clarifying my medical records to be true in order to sabotage me by a nurse practitioner I didn't even go to for care I thought I call you instead this doctor is on all of my medical records like she saw me when she did not nor did she do any test on me nor did she prescribing the medication for me all she was try and embarrass me degrade me sabotage me and bring me to her personal life and the company just says her personal life but I am too but I'm worried about what policies you should break as far as including her personal life into her professional life with me when I had nothing to do with her personal life whatsoever

Include the lack of effort to resolve the issue from the corporation in your report to the Medical Board. If you have names and dates of the person or persons you complained to at the corporation that information would be helpful.

There is no way to be sure. Again, you need to contact the Medical Board so you understand what their procedures are handling these types of complaints. Any concerns regarding submitting a complaint should be voiced to the Board prior to the complaint being submitted.

Current license or certificate for this nurse practitioner on the medical directors database or any wares for nurse practitioners at all I have researched how do I report that this person should not even be practicing medicine much less making phosphide information on my medical records that will affect me for the rest of my life or how do I get my medical records fixed a great day to where this won't affect me

What do you think?
