From not putting cooliant in my car is he responsible for a new motor

Payed 657 to get.my car out the shop was charged for cooliant which wasn't none in there my car ran hot and was broke back down less than 24 hours. Now he want me to pay 1200 for a new motor....um isn't he responsible for my car to go from minor problems too serious problems

Good Morning Artencia. Thank you for using our services. Your complaint against B & J Automotive has been received and is being processed. We are going to ask the company to address the allegations in your complaint and you’ll have the opportunity to rebuttal if you’re not satisfied with their initial response. How the company responds to a complaint is a good indication if further action on your part may be necessary. By further action, I mean filing a complaint with the Regulator of automotive repair shops in Florida or even legal action if necessary. I did some research and in the State of Florida, automotive repair shops must be registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (“FDACS”): https://www.freshfromflorida.com/Consumer-Resources/Consumer-Rights-and-Responsibilities/Motor-Vehicle-Repair
The FDACS would be the agency to reach out to if further action is necessary.
