Good Morning Porsha. Altercations between a customer and a retail establishment are unfortunate. Even more so, when the opposing parties have a different account of the incident. I’m sorry to hear of what transpired between you and the Home Depot. You have already done what I would have suggested, and that would be to file a complaint. Our entire complaint process can take up to thirty days. In the event that the Home Depot fails to respond to your complaint or simply refuses to consider reaching an amicable resolution with you, then you will need to escalate the complaint to the Georgia Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division: http://consumer.georgia.gov/consumer-topics/filing-a-complaint
