Kilter Pest Control Tech slipped, fell through ceiling left a 10'x4' hole. Shouldn't they reimburse me for my repair?

They wanted me to wait for them to send someone. This was my office; I have my computer there. Is also where my 15 birds are housed. I called them, got an OK to do whatever was needed. I got materials, had someone there working on it that night; holes closed then Kilter said they'd only reimburse me $675; my expense to date is $2,500 but Kilter refused to pay; they wanted to deduct the $675 from final bill. There is no final bill - not any more. They said they'd send some one out to look at it; no one came. They finally came almost 2 wks later on a Tuesday and said they'd send someone out by Saturday. No one called until Saturday morning and I had already made plans. They withdrew $1,998 from my account without my authorization or even a courtesy call. They did not fulfill their contract obligations. I want my expenses and the money they took out of my account reimbursed. Is this unreasonable?
