Hello Maria. Thank you for your question. Returning a vehicle to a dealership is not that simple. In general, there are no laws or rules providing a return period when you purchase a vehicle. Unfortunately, returning the car, would depend on several factors such as the state you purchased the car in and the dealership’s policies. So essentially, it is up to the dealer to unwind the deal. Maria, you can try filing a complaint. This way your complaint against the dealership goes on record and they are aware that you reached out to a third party for assistance. Filing a complaint with BCA is quick, simple, and FREE: https://www.checkbca.org/file-complaint We’ll take the information in your complaint. The company will be asked to address the allegations in your complaint and as soon as we hear back from the dealer, you will be notified. Filing a complaint does not guarantee a resolution and further action on your part may be necessary. In Indiana, you can also file a complaint against a dealer with the Indiana Secretary of State Dealer Division: https://www.in.gov/sos/dealer/files/Dealer_Complaint.pdfI hope this information is helpful. Please contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org if you need further assistance.
