Good Morning Penny. Thank you for contacting Business Consumer Alliance (BCA). If your husband has not took a loan out from Speedy Cash now or before, this is most likely a scam. Speedy Cash does exist, but I’m unaware of any legitimate business using finalbucket.com in their email address. I researched Speedy Cash and they appear to be headquartered in Kansas, but have locations in several states. They have a customer service number and a fraud department number on their contact page: https://www.speedycash.com/contact-us/

Customer Service number is 1-888-333-1360. Email address: customerservice@speedycash.com
Fraud Department number is 1-877-336-9392 Email address: accountreview@speedyinc.com

I suggest your husband contact the three credit bureaus to see if anything has shown up on his credit report. By law you’re entitled to a free report every year from each of the three bureaus. Encourage your husband to do this. He can then review the reports for accounts or credit cards that he did not open.

I hope this information is helpful. Please contact me directly at vantillon@checkbca.org if I can be of further assistance.

You're welcome. Please do encourage your husband to contact the credit bureaus to get copies of his credit report.
