Is this a scam? How can they have access to my google drive?

I am repeatedly being contacted through my google drive to withdraw my Bitcoins but I never invested in any Bitcoins. Is this a scam or honest mistake?

Hello Lillian. Thank you for your inquiry. From what I am aware of what you’ve described sounds like a relatively new scam targeting people through Google Drive. The way the scam works is phishing emails are sent to people that appear legitimate but, if opened, could come to rest on a malicious website. People targeted by the scam receive Google Drive notifications usually in broken English asking them to collaborate on documents with nonsense names. These documents always contain a link to a scam website. People are then bombarded with notifications and requests to click on links to prize drawings, banks accounts, etc.

Please report this to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). The IC3 is a government website that accepts complaints regarding cyber crime: https://www.ic3.gov/
