How long does it take once you file the complant ? Once it’s filed if they don’t respond what will happen then it’s been longer then the 14 days i do know that but if they don’t respond then what happens next I don’t know if I mentioned before that I’ve got my emails and stuff from where I talked to Apple about this and what they told me to do and who should have to fix the cards (iTunes App Store gift cards were done spent before I bought them from Walmart but neither of them will fix it but if I didn’t mention I do have where they told me they had been spent before I bought them and everything they said to me and what they found and what to do about it I have them if you want to see them I’ll email a copy please help with this please that’s so much of a lose to me and my family it’s really put a hurt on us not having it thanks for your effort and time

I’m baffled by what happened to you, because normally when you purchase a gift card , the card is activated at the checkout lane and the receipt you are given has your activation number. Were you given a receipt with an activation code on it? If there were issues with the cards, you would think Walmart would have caught it at that time. Nonetheless, I hear your frustration and to make matters worse, both companies are not making it any easier by throwing blame at each other and leaving you standing on the sidelines. If you have not done so already, I would encourage you to file a complaint against Apple as well. So as of today, Walmart is still within their timeframe to respond. When we contact a business with a complaint, they have 10 business days to respond. If no correspondence is received from the company within the 10 business days, we then send a second letter which gives the company an additional 10 business days to respond. I looked up your complaint and we sent out the second letter to Walmart on 03/21/2019. In the event that Walmart or Apple fail to respond or refuse to resolve your complaint the way you are seeking, you will need to escalate the complaint to a state consumer protection agency.
