This month, we are proud to spotlight Cailyn Paredes, one of our 2026 scholarship recipients, who was awarded a $2,500 Jerry Dominguez Scholarship.
A Passion for Business and Public Service
Cailyn will soon be a student at New York University's Stern School of Business, where she is pursuing her passion for finance while maintaining a strong commitment to public service.
When asked why she supports the Jerry Dominguez Scholarship Fund, Cailyn shared:
"I believe access to education can completely change the trajectory of a student's life, and I've seen firsthand how support systems and mentorship open doors that would otherwise remain closed. I'm proud to support the Jerry Dominguez Scholarship Fund because it reflects the importance of investing in students who have the drive and potential but may lack financial resources."

- Two-time International Public Policy Forum Top 64 Qualifier
- Top Speaker at the Damus Invitational World Schools Debate Tournament
- Mission League Women's Soccer Most Valuable Defensive Player
These achievements demonstrate not only academic excellence, but also exceptional communication skills, leadership, discipline, and teamwork—qualities that will undoubtedly serve her well throughout her career.
