Through the Jerry Dominguez Scholarship Fund, we are honored to recognize exceptional students whose dedication, leadership, and perseverance inspire us all.
This month, we are proud to spotlight Geraldine Armenta-Ramirez, one of our 2026 scholarship recipients, who was awarded a $2,500 Jerry Dominguez Scholarship.
A Passion for Business and Community
Geraldine will soon be a student at Cal State Fullerton, where she is pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
When asked why she supports the Jerry Dominguez Scholarship Fund, Geraldine shared:
"As a scholarship recipient, I support the Jerry Dominguez Scholarship Fund because I know firsthand the power of an opportunity. This fund gave me the support to pursue my education in business and keep moving forward without letting financial barriers decide my future. I support this fund because I want the next student to have that same chance to dream bigger, work harder, and go further. This fund doesn’t just give scholarships it creates opportunities, builds confidence, and develops the business leaders of tomorrow. I’m proud to be a recipient, and even prouder to stand behind a fund that invests in people who are ready to make an impact."

Outstanding Achievements
Geraldine’s accomplishments extend well beyond the classroom. Through remarkable dedication and hard work, she graduated from high school having already earned an Associate’s Degree from a community college—an impressive achievement that reflects her academic ambition and commitment to her future.
Her excellence in academics, leadership, and service has also earned her several notable distinctions, including the Do the Right Thing Award, recognition as an AVID Senior Standout, and Summa Cum Laude honors throughout all four years of high school.
Together, these accomplishments highlight Geraldine’s strong character, discipline, leadership, communication skills, and ability to work effectively with others—qualities that will undoubtedly help her thrive in college and throughout her future career.
Giving Back as a BCA Ambassador
Receiving a scholarship is only part of Geraldine's story.
