Advantage Morgage - Scott Krelle

In 2010 we contracted with Advantage Mortgage for a loan. Their loan officer (Mario Garcia) quoted us a rate, said it was locked and sent us a Good Faith Estimate (GFE). We were then strung along for weeks, one lie after another, eating away at our closing time frame. We started to question what was going on, we made some calls and learned that the loan officer (Mario Garcia) working for Advantage Mortgage was not a licensed agent and our signature was forged on a different GFE with a higher rate and high closing fees. Plus our original (lower) rate was never locked.
We did contact the owner of Advantage Mortgage (Scott Krelle – CEO) who did nothing to correct or save the deal or make us whole.
We almost lost the new home, and to save the deal we had to pay an additional $8,000.00 to extend the closing date. We had to start all over, with a different mortgage company, who quoted us a rate, lock it and close the loan in less than 3 weeks with the rate and low closing fees we were promised. *My husband and I have excellent credit scores and have for years.
My husband and I took legal action against Advantage Mortgage and won our case. Scott Krelle did appeal the case and lost again. We were awarded a judgment against Advantage Mortgage. We have made multiple attempts to collect with no avail.
Advantage Mortgage states on their web site “No Unresolved Grievances or lawsuits”. This is untrue, we are still unresolved and we did sue and won!!!!! The facts speak for them self, case number 12SC01039 Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento.
Advantage Mortgage took advantage of us!!!
