Poor customer service!!
We used All California Cremations for my cousin. When I first called them they were as they should be, very respectful and understanding about our loss. Her ashes needed to be sent back to New Jersey for proper burial. I was to notify the funeral home so they could accept her ashes. I was given inaccurate information as far as when her ashes would leave California. Instead of Miss Bonnie admitting there was an error on their end, she didn't listen and immediately attacked me and told me to show her the inaccuracies in the email. When I showed her, she then said "You're right, I apologize". This is a crematory. They attack their client? Don't listen? I said what if no one was there to accept her? She said, deliverer puts a note on the door, ashes go to area to be held. (Fed Ex?) If they are not picked up. It is a return to sender. I feel this is a huge mistake! How would you feel? It was her attitude, defense mechanism, no matter what the circumstance this is a very sad time. You do not attack the family and you get your facts straight before you accuse the client. What would they have done to me, if it was a return to sender? Charge me? Fortunately, the Funeral home Flynn and Son in Fords, New Jersey said to me " No Worries, Pat your cousin is now safe with us. Just relax, we will take good care of her!" That's what I needed to hear. CoVid is difficult enough without dealing with this type of issue. Let them decide how this sad time in our life should be dealt with. Certainly, no referrals here.
