Altana Federal Credit Union reviews

I have been a member of Altana Federal credit union in Montana for many years. I have recently been discriminated against and they provided false information regarding policies required and would not furnish in writing their policies for denying to service me by cashing my check. They provided me false information on US Treasury issued checks would have 9 day hold, when the regulation states if it is under $5000 it can be available the same day. They also provided me false information residency requirements to open an account. They also called other credit unions in the area and told them not to allow me to cash the check either. I provided all required identification and was even told at one point by an employee that I would be able to cash the check. And the next day I was unable to. Everything I have stated is factual to my experience and request that a formal complaint be held against them and they should be penalized for discrimination against a member. A formal, written apology and provide me with the policy that I requested and that they be penalized for their apparent discrimination.
