Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. One complainant alleges the transporter put over 150 miles on the vehicle while in transport. Another complainant alleges the company advertises they are licensed, but when questioned about their licensing information, was told since they are only brokers they do not need a license. The company responds to most complaints by stating they are only brokers, referring consumers to the trucking company that actually performed the services, and stating all claims must be handled by the trucker who carried the car. The company further responds by stating the customers sign the bill of lading with all responsibility going tothe truckers or stating they are not responsible for accrued rental car fees. One complainant received a partial refund and reimbursement of rental car fees while the vehicle was repaired. The company responded the complaint about licensing by stating the customer did not place an order.
