AmeriNational changed there system at the beginning of October 2021. I received a notice in the mail adding $125 late fees to my mortgage for the month of November 2021, AmeriNational is stating that this is from the entire time I had the loan. In their old system the $15 was added automatically to my mortgage payment which made my payment $15 more than the mortgage amount. I called AmeriNational their customer service agents were rude and we got into a yelling match because she refuse to listen or to even investigate what the problem was. Barbara (customer service agent) said that the reason why I had these fees was the economy was scared and they was charging all fees to the consumer. I called back several times to speak to a supervisor or manager and was advised supervisors and mangers won't deal with my issue. The last time a called the woman that answered relayed a message from Barbara to me who appeared to me sitting next to her. This is very stressful that AmeriNational was not willing to look into their system to make sure this was correct but was willing to pass my call around being very unprofessional. Resolution Sought I want AmeriNational to look at their new system and compare to old to make sure what they are charging is correct and not a error of their new system. I want access to all my payments since 2017. In their new system at this point I am unable to access and verify any payments and the amount that it says I owe is $0. Also to get the number the their complaint department.
