I ordered silver by e-check on the website. I got notice three days later that I had to call to confirm my order, which seemed irregular. I confirmed that I was a prior customer and confirmed my name, address, account, routing number, prior orders, and where I wanted the current order sent. They said they would not confirm my order since it was going to a different address and whose address was it anyway. I told them it was none of their business where I sent my purchases, but for the record it was my daughter's address. They demanded proof of her residency with a bill or bank statement, then said they also wanted a copy of my driver's license, along with a photo (selfie) of me holding the drivers license. I said this was an invasion of my and my daughter's privacy and I wanted to cancel the order. I cancelled it on their website. They said I would be penalized, but 3 days later still had not started the refund when I called. A week later, they had not initiated the refund so I called again. I was told their accounting department had decided to keep my money for 60 days. I have yet to see any of my money. Frauds and charlatans is the best I can say. Resolution Sought I want my money refunded immediately, with interest, to the account they pilfered it from.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding order 27921557 placed by Mr. Michael Steward on June 14, 2022. This order was completed with a payment type of e-check during the checkout process. There were multiple requests made by the APMEX verification team to provide additional information due to the risk of fraud on this order that had a ship to address unable to be linked to Mr. Steward. We reserve the right to request additional verification information as outlined in our return policy. * APMEX is required to have an AML department per the Patriot Act. Mr. Steward was not fully compliant with our review therefore we cannot release the funds unless the bank requests them, or enough time has passed for the potential victim of fraud to report them missing to their bank. The order was cancelled at APMEX.com by Mr. Steward on June 21, 2022, at which point the refund process was initiated. The APMEX accounting department was unable to do a reversal of the e-check payment due to the amount of time that had lapsed between the time of purchase and the cancellation of the order. Due to the reversal being denied, a 60 day hold period is currently in place to protect APMEX against a dispute of the funds from the banking institution that the funds originated from. The refund will be applied after the 60 day hold period is complete. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
