Dishonest, poor commication, and bad service...took my money and did not provide service
Hi, I am writing this with lots of frustration. Your company has been dishonest and has caused me both money and significant time. My story. I was looking to get my Mom's car from Charlottesville VA to Sedona Az. - I had a company booked a month in advance and at the last-minute wanted to charge me 400 dollars more than the contract. I then called others and made it clear that I would take the first carrier that would commit to a date and time. I contacted Ultimate123 and was told by MIA that they were not like other companies and that you would guarantee a 72-hour commitment on 26 Feb. I signed a contract on with that commitment on 1 March 2022. I heard NOTHING for three days. I called MIA on Thursday March, 3rd, and Friday March 4th - NO REPLY. I texted MIA on Saturday, followed by a call - NO REPLY. In my text I said "should I start looking for a new company", I called again on Sunday March 4th, talked a to gentleman who was NOT interested in helping, but said they would continue to try and find a driver. I was NEVER contacted after that by MIA. I was forced to find another driver and did so - I signed a new contract on Tuesday March 8th and my car was picked up on Friday flawlessly by a competitor of yours and delivered on time per contract. Surprisingly I was texted by your company on Wednesday 9 March and said you found a driver, and WITHOUT contacting me, charged my Credit Card 270 dollars...I WAS FURIOUS!!!! You don't contact me for a week, never confirmed the driver arrangements and charge me 270 dollars - NOT GOOD business. As soon as I see the credit card charge (within hours) I call to complain and all I could get was a refund of 170 dollars - because I was under contract. After an hour on the phone with a rep of yours who was NOT nice, I contacted MIA and she was VERY apologetic for not getting back to me - said she took Friday off and doesn't work weekends. She said the best she could do was get me 170 dollars back, at the time I accepted as I feared you were going to take all my money for a service I did not receive. I asked MIA to have her supervisor call me the next day and she said she would...SURPISE, no call. A week plus goes by and I still didn't have my 170 dollar refund. I called on Saturday, 19 Mar and your company said the refund was sent 16 March, I checked my bank and no credit was received - SOOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!!! With all this, I am asking that you refund my whole 270 dollars as you did not live up to your contract stating you would have a driver committed within 72 hours. In addition, your lack of communication for a week forced me to find a new carrier. Lastly, your practice of charging my Credit Card without confirmation of car pick up and drop off dates is wrong.
