Carbon Health reviews

Get the word out that Carbon Health Covid testing is not reliable.

Four friends were traveling to Kauai. It is mandated you have a Covid test (of course with negative results) no more than 72 hours before arrival before you can enter the island. All four of us paid the $170 fee and had the test done at Carbon Health in San Diego who had documentation at the testing site that stated the results would be available by 2pm the following day. When that time came and went we started making calls to Carbon Health to no avail as they wouldn't answer their phones after a while and even shut down their app. We had to leave for the airport at 4 am the next morning and still had no results. We ended up having to pay another $200 to get a test done at the Seattle airport and take another flight that delayed us 6 hours. Carbon Health did refund our money after multiple phone calls. My issue is that I have found in speaking with airport personnel that this is an ongoing issue with Carbon Health. People need to be made aware that they cannot trust Carbon Health to get results completed in a timely manner. (They "guaranteed" our results by 2pm on a Monday-we received the results around noon on Wednesday.)
