Not what it appears to be

I contacted Ted after seeing an advertisement for a portable power solution. It advertised an unheard of re-charge time that could make the product viable. I visited his facility in Temecula, CA and had long conversations about the product. He would not supply a unit for demonstration unless we purchased it. We did and had it shipped in for evaluation. The product did not work as he had advertised. He agreed to take it back and refund our money. Over a month later and he will not return calls or emails or our check.
Ted, if you're reading this you need to contact me.

After two years of promises. Still not complete

December of 2017, I paid money to get a solar backup system installed. Check was cashed and then they disappeared for almost two weeks. They initially sent three individuals out for the install. These individuals claimed that they had never seen this system before and did not know how to do it. Evidently there is only one installer to do this work, and he is rarely available to do this system work. The system was eventually installed over a period of months instead of the 5 to 10 days promised. After more months the system had to be uninstalled and moved to a different location due to the builder not pulling a permit or even having a license to work in this city. The city would not approve it due to location and non existing permit and license from the installer. I built a new shed, I then had to wait to get it installed again and got the city to accept it, but Southern California Edison still has not approved it, so consequently I still don't have the rebate promised in the contract. Edison has outlined exactly what they need from the company and I have paid the fee to Edison and signed all the documents. For whatever reason company will not or cannot justify what the hold up is. After two years, now I am being told that I am impatient and they don't know what my problem is. Even though the system seems to be working fine, it still has to be approved by Edison.
