It took 5 hours and 45 minutes for my number to be called

I went to the DMV to get my license renewed. It was very crowded. We were all packed in like sardines. There were people there with small children. There were elderly people with disabilities there. It was very noisy and uncomfortable. It took 5 hours and 45 minutes for my number to be called. I observed several booths unoccupied and workers that were present moving very slowly. I know the DMV has a reputation for moving slowly, but I've never seen it this bad. It was a horrible experience. Something must be done to change this. We are not living in the dark ages. I'm sure there must be measures that can be taken to rectify this issue. There are rules and laws for the public to be on the road. People want to follow these rules and laws. They have to go to the DMV to do so. Why must it be a nightmare to be a good citizen?? I want this problem rectified. A new system must be put into place!
