Order Number: 21-10204-78286. Date Purchased: June 23, 2023; Received June 29, 2023. Item Purchased: Scytek ASTRA A4.2W Car Alarm System With Engine Remote Start LCD 2-way Remote. Purchased from discountcentralonline. Remote control with screen died, it is not functioning. Contacted via email and their response is as follows: " You can return everything for repair only, you are no longer qualified for refund or replacement. Please let us know so we can send you an RMA#." All I request is another remote with screen, as the other remote without the screen functions properly with alarm. I would have to pay the professional alarm installer $100.00 USD for removal of entire alarm and another $100.00 USD if they send another alarm. This is not a resolution I want to deal with. I can send the defective remote control with screen to discountcentralonline and they can repair or send me another remote control, as previously requested. They do not answer the phone numbers and just respond with a blanket response. Resolution Sought I would like for discountcentralonline to send me a remote control with screen that I can program and use with the alarm that was purchased. If this is not possible, then they can send me another Scytek ASTRA A4.2W Car Alarm System With Engine Remote Start LCD 2-way Remote. Warranty policy: Per Discount Central Online Policy: Applicable for items purchased more than 30-days but not later than a year. Brand new: All purchased brand new products have 1 year warranty from DiscountCentralOnline.

Because they had hundreds of reviews, and a good rating on Amazon, I bought a subwoofer from Discount Central Online for $200.00. They shipped it quickly and I had it from LA in my hands in Raleigh NC 3 days later. The price was fair, and shipping quick. So far, so good. I don't have enough characters to fully explain how I know for a fact that it was defective, but I used to install audio equipment for a living, and now I am an electrical engineer. My point is I knew exactly what I was doing when wiring everything, and I assure you the item was defective. I only sent it half the rated power, and the voice coil blew on me. Anyway, the return policy said I had 48 hours after receiving it to inform them, so around 12 hours later I immediately messaged them on their Amazon account. I get an automated reply telling me to initiate a return on Amazon. When I tried to do this, Amazon replied "For safety reasons, items containing flammable liquids or gasses... etc." which makes no sense, because the item is a subwoofer, but I digress. I contacted the seller directly via Amazon, and I keep getting automated replies telling me the same thing. So now I call their number which is listed in LA. It sent me to voicemail automatically, and I think exists just as a formality. OK so now I'm mad. I found out the name of the owners through some deep Google searches, they also own BGB Distributions a building with the same address. Behzad Noorani and Gerry Cruz are the co-owners. Resolution Sought If the response is timely, I would like a replacement. If it takes a while, I want a full refund. These third party sellers are essentially scammers because they make it impossible to resolve any issues.
