I asked for a refund on a trip I tried to purchase however while talking to the travel agent they could not make the dates work and I would need to get a refund and purchase a new one with different dates. I also missed out on the cheaper direct flight that no longer exists. I explained this to groupon and for almost a week they keep telling me its been escalated yet they have done nothing. It was a birthday gift for my husband and now that is to late. Resolution Sought Give me my refund.

Thanks for reaching out about this matter. Customer writes regarding her need to change the dates of a Getaway package she bought on the Groupon site. By way of background, Groupon is a marketing platform that allows merchants to post their deals and services. When customer contacted our Customer Support team regarding this merchant's deal, we follow the channels the merchants have provided to us in order to contact them when concerns arise. Sometimes we get quick responses and sometimes those merchants take a few days to respond. Naturally, with the weekend and federal holiday recently, it took a few days for us to get a response. Today the merchant has confirmed to us that they have worked directly with the customer to rebook her trip and no further refund is necessary. We appreciate customer's frustration in dealing with this matter and I will be reaching out to her directly regarding that.

I paid for a hotel for June 8-11 but I meant it for June 2-5 and the hotel said I couldn't switch the dates and to contact Groupon. Groupon not only told me that they wasn't switching the dates but they also told me I couldn't get a refund. I had to pay for another hotel on top of not getting a refund because I'm visiting from out of town. Groupon doesn't have a physical number to call and they barely answer the only option which is live chat. The people didn't really try a solution just kept saying they can't refund it with no reason as to why. Resolution Sought I would like a refund asap.

In part because the merchant has selected this purchase is non-refundable with this statement written on the deal page: Cancellation Policy This rate is non-refundable. If you choose to change or cancel this booking you will not be refunded any of the payment. By way of background, Groupon is a marketing platform. Merchants post their own goods and services for sale on our site and merchants determine the deal language, refund policy, and pricing.
