The transition has been a disaster, leaving me stranded and frustrated.

My recent experience with Humana's transportation service, now handled by Modivcare, has been utterly disappointing. The transition has been a disaster, leaving me stranded and frustrated. Modivcare's inability to provide accessible service to all clients, especially those with unique needs like dialysis patients, is unacceptable. Their insistence on extensive notice for appointments, lack of flexibility, and disregard for individual circumstances have left me with no options but to rely on Uber, often leading to canceled appointments and missed healthcare opportunities. Furthermore, their use of vans or buses emblazoned with company logos violates privacy rights and HIPAA laws. The recent changes, seemingly driven by cost-cutting measures, have severely impacted patient care. I will be switching providers at the earliest opportunity.

They need to treat people with respect, they are not professional at all.

On 11/21/19 I had an appt at eye association I'm 71 years old and I am having problems with my eyes. I can't see from my right eye due to diabetes so they suspended my license. I also have high blood pressure so I called Humana transport they tell me they will be at my home 15 minutes before my appointment. The appointment was at 10 o'clock they said they will arrive at 10:30. I called and they tell me they will be here in a couple of minute's I kept calling they keep telling he will be here at this time is1030. I called a Uber they never called me to tell me they were not coming. So I called on 12/9/19 for an appt on 12/11/19 my appt is for 10 am. They said they will be here in 20 minutes when he got here at 10:15 am I had my grandson and went to his car and he tells me you don't have a chaperone when you called. I told him they said I could bring my grandson the time that no one picked me up. He decided to call his dispatch office a man told him to explain to me that the next time I call to let them know that I have someone with me now. This was not intentional my grandson's grandfather had a car accident when he was coming to pick up my 5 year old to take him to speech class. Now he can't come with me so what was I supposed to do with the child let him stay home alone? We are in the car he is driving us around our neighborhood and a lady at his dispatch office tell him in Spanish don't take her she is going to complain anyway, then tells me he is taking me back home.
