Disappointed!

Larry had called me towards the end of 2015. I met with him, went over what he had to offer and everything sounded great. I signed up for two different restaurants which came to a total of $2400. The contract we made was for me to make payments to him (which I did). He let me make payments and was "understanding" when money was tight. I did try to get out of the contract for reasons of my own, however, I trusted Larry and was excited to see the finished product. I ended up giving him a total of $1800. He said he should have the first restaurant completed in the spring of 2016. That never happened. Then it was going to be in the summer and that never happened. The last time I heard from Larry was in August via email. I still gave him the benefit of the doubt. I ended up emailing him, I believe in October..no response. I called and sent him a text just this last month...no response. Needless to say, I am very disappointed and I'm pretty sure my $1800 is just gone! From what I understand, there are many people in the same boat as I am. I'm not sure what went wrong and I hate to call this a scam because I don't believe he intended to not follow thru. All I know if that I am out $1800 and I want it back. I hope this review helps if you are thinking of doing business with this man.
