Change the behavior
Followed harassed by security regarding wearing a mask (1600 Town Center Drive, Montebello, CA). Change the behavior

This complaint and review to be made Public to avoid anyone else being mistreated
My grandsons and I had an appointment for a photo session at 1:45 today August 27 and were completely ignored and treated rudely by their 2 employees. In fact, before I got to the studio with my grandsons there was another woman who was waiting with her 3 kids who LEFT, no doubt ignored as well. An employee who is an Asian woman walked by us THREE TIMES with NO greeting, NO question as to why I was even there. I can understand being short staffed and busy, but customers being IGNORED is probably why JC Penney is in the tank these days. When I told the Asian employee that I had an appointment at 1:45 and had been waiting w/out anyone asking me about it, she asked me if I hadn't been checked in?! She was the only one who could've checked me in!!! So she asked me for my name but I misheard her and said that my appointment was at 1:45. She sarcastically asked if my name is 1:45?? So I said Fuck this! And left. No effort by JC Penney studio employees to apologize or take responsibility but rude sarcasm for my 20-25 minute complete waste of time. Then they had the nerve to email me that my appointment is canceled as if I didn't show up. That's the problem. I was the only one that showed up. I didn't lose any money but I have forever lost any interest in spending money or time at JC Penney. My grandsons do not live with me and it's hard to schedule things just right. Those people destroyed a moment they claim to care about capturing them but obviously they don't.
