I would not recommend Jose Escamilla because he does not warrant his work.

My husband and I hired Jose Escamilla through Home Advisors in April of 2018. We assumed that Home Advisors would have thoroughly vetted the company. We spent over $18,000 on backyard landscaping with Jose Escamilla. This included installation of pavers, retaining wall, sod, boulders, trees, and lighting. The work was overall good. We were happy with the installation of the retaining wall and pavers. We recently had a problem and our backyard lighting system which completely stopped working. When I called to have it repaired, Jose told me he did not warrant the installation of the electrical only the light fixtures themselves. He indicated that he would have to charge me for any repair of the system other then the fixtures. I know that this response regarding warranty work is not practice for the industry. I would not hire he or his company again and most certainly would not recommend him to anyone expecting to have warranties for his work and installation.
