My mother and I were travelling to attend my father's funeral. The airlines had changed the flight and pushed it back to another day which caused us to miss our connecting flight. I finally got through to the airlines, they stated that they had refunded the money to the card, but the card info was not mine even though they took my information. They had used a master card to purchase some of the tickets which results in the money going back to them instead of my card. Every time I call to let them know they hang up on me and this has been over 5 times. They won't let me speak to a supervisor and the live chat always says someone will speak to you in an hour and their representatives are busy. They're a scam, they take people's money but don't offer any customer service. Resolution Sought I would like my full refund, the airline company has refunded the payment but even thou they took my card information they used one of their own and now that I'm calling in regard to the money the airline sent back, they keep hanging up the phone on me.

I purchased a round trip from Birmingham, AL to Sacramento, CA on April 26, 2023 flight # 228-754-521. My Departing flight was scheduled for May 18, 2023, Return May 23, 2023. The total cost of the ticket was $605.81 which included a Cancellation Protection fee of $77.46. I became ill with severe ear, neck, knee, and throat pain and could not make my flight as scheduled. I cancelled my flight on May 15, 2023. I was told at that time they could not do anything for me until I made an additional payment of $150.00 cancellation fee on my credit card which, they took an extra $50.00 handling charge unauthorized by me as well. At that point I was told that I had to upload my Medical Records if cancellation was due to medical reasons. I went to the doctor, paid for copies of my records and uploaded them to Flighthub.com as requested. When I called Customer Service I was given a different phone number each time and a recording which instructed you to "start an online chat" but no one ever responds. I ended up going to an Ear Nose and Throat Dr. because I still wasn't well. I uploaded those docs as well. Please help me. I called the booking line and asked if I could schedule another flight because they never gave me a refund but they said I have to pay for it again because I have no credit/refund with them. Resolution Sought I would like to receive a refund for the entire amount of my ticket 605.81 which includes, taxes, agency fee's, seat request, and cancellation protection. Additionally, I would like the $150.00 extra dollars they charge for cancelling my ticket and $50.00 handling charges for a total of $805.00. Trying to resolve this matter has caused me undue stress, Fibromyalgia flare ups, and headaches, please help.

This is in response to the client's complaint. We have already advised the client that their ticket is non-refundable. She already submitted a claim through the insurance and she was advised to check the status of their claim. It was explained to her that JustFly only charged her the handling fee of $50.00. We do not have a record of the $150.00 cancelation fee as she was explaining.

Please be advised that the client was only charged a $50.00 handling fee for requesting to cancel the reservation. We did not charge them a $150.00 cancelation fee as it was not in the airline's fare rules. We require a copy of the credit card statement that shows this charge to substantiate their claim. Also, we mentioned that they already submitted a claim for a refund through the insurance company. They need to check the status of their request directly with the insurance as they are a third-party entity. We do not have access to this request.
