Froze my account.
My husband died 06-06-2022. Yesterday, I called Kinecta to request a reduction in my interest rate. My interest rate concern was buried when I was told that due to my husband's death, I needed to provide Kinecta with a death certificate and apply for credit in my name only! I informed the "Escalation Specialist," Mariska, that our credit card acct. was a joint acct. and since my husband's death, I am now responsible for all financial obligated on the acct, and that surely Kinecta would not make me less than whole on an account I have always paid on time since my husband had had vascular dementia since 2014. Moreover, my current credit score is 750. I understand why Kinecta wants me to now have the acct. transferred into my name ONLY since my husband, is now deceased but to freeze my card when my husband and I have different acct. numbers and deny me access to the use of the card under MY acct. number in my opinion, is punitive behavior on Kinecta's behalf! Also, Mariska had a smug and indifferent attitude towards me issue. She was about as compassionate regarding my concerns as a rattle snake! For Kinecta to take away my credit card prior to giving me time to receive one in my name only is a poor way of doing business; especially, since shareholders write Kinecta employees' paychecks! My Thanksgiving Holiday is ruin. Without my credit card I can no longer go away for the Holiday, and I really wanted to get away since this Thanksgiving is the first holiday without my husband! Nonetheless, I do have some comfort after reading the many negative reviews online regarding Kinecta Credit Union. With their current attitude toward their customers, they will soon be out of business which will probably help us all! B.H.

I will raise this issue to all social media make everyone about the Manager's rudeness and tell they Kinecta don' want your business.
I went to Tustin Branch to open the Business account and Manager (Sandra) is very rude person. I been with Kinecta when is use to be Hughes Credit union I will raise this issue to all social media make everyone about the Manager's rudeness and tell they Kinecta don' want your business. Change the manager
