Nothing being done about known issues with the compressors
Company has failed to inform consumer of the issues with the compressor in her refrigerator. On Friday night, 11/8/19 she found water in her floor and was not sure what it was. She contacted a repairman who came out and informed it was the compressor; he completed no repairs as he was not LG certified. She contacted you right away to get this matter taken care of. You schedule an appointment with Luis. Luis called and informed he does not have any parts so he was not sure why he was scheduled. She called you back and another appointment was made for later the day. The company never showed up. Someone finally showed up on Monday, 11/11/19 to make repairs. The repair tech informed her they are aware of this issue with the compressor so they keep the part in stock. She let you know she lost $300 in food as she had just gone grocery shopping. You informed you do reimburse for lost food, but she cannot contact them until 48 hours after repairs are completed. She feels LG should be doing something about these refrigerators knowing there is an issue with the compressors.
