We recently moved from Seattle WA. to Grand Junction CO. We hired Los Angeles Transfer and Storage to pick our items and move them on 5/27/21. Because we were in the process of purchasing a home, we requested that our delivery be scheduled for 7/2/21. When I signed up with them they assured us that they regularly drive up to Colorado as it is one of their busy routes. Fast forward to now I called to ask on when we would receive our items and I was told usually it takes another 3 business weeks from the date we requested delivery and because it was an interstate move even that is not certain. This was never communicated to us when we were signing up. Because if this information was provided I would definitely would have not signed up with them. I have tried to call to talk to a manager to no avail and they say you cannot talk to the dispatch manager. We have closed on our house but are forced to live in a rental with no certainty of when our house hold goods will be shipped. We are at their mercy because we have already paid the required 60 down-payment. If you are able to intervene and help please do because I cannot get any response from the company. Resolution Sought I would like to receive my shipment asap and in good condition as they were picked up.

We hired LA moving and transfer for our move. We worked with Jared and got a exact list. When it came to loading day the said they would charge us $290 for packing. Then once the truck was loaded they said that we were over our cubic feet: 1, That our furniture was overs sized and heavy duty. 2. They said our washer and dryer was heavy duty and would be an additional charge 3. The pedi stools for our washer and dryer was extra. Where our quote said it was included. 4. That our original quote was approx 961 cf and we were 1400 sf before everything was loaded. Then we said to take the items off the truck because we couldn't afford the new amount they said they would charge us 200 per an hour to remove our items. Lying saying they had been at our house send 9am when they didn't get there until 1:30 and it would eat up our entire deposit. 5. They could accept american express but the company who picked up the stuff said they couldn't How can you completely miss the quote by almost double??? We are moving from Denver to Tucson because we are unemployed. We only picked LA moving because of the price and now its all changed. They never call me back they said it is beyond the person why quoted it. I request a refund to match our original quote of $3540.60 to the revised of 5820.17. They didn't honor the discount. How can you have an exact list we went over it 5 times. This is criminal!!! We need a refund. Resolution Sought Refund the difference or honor the original contract of $3540.60
