I leased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Mac Haik Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 12111 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079 on May 9th 2018. For the transaction, I traded in my 2016 BMW 4 series and the dealer agreed to make the pay-off for the disclosed amount. It is now June 12th and I'm receiving calls from a collection agency that BMW Financial turned me in, saying I'm 30 days past due on payment. I called and they said they never received a payoff or payment from anyone. This is where the issue with the dealer all begins. In total, I have made approximately 12 calls to the dealer being transferred to, Sultan Aldeek, in finance as well as any available sales manager. Almost every single call was never answered and I left multiple voicemails. Eventually, I was able to get a hold of Sultan who told me he'd look into why it wasn't processed but he did his end of what needed completed. He said he'd give me a call that day or if he didn't to call him back the next day. As you may have guessed, he never called back and I had to play the wait game with voicemails and transfers all over again. The next day, I eventually got a hold of a manager, Chris Kennedy, who apologized noting that the woman in charge of sending the payoffs was on vacation when I purchased the Jeep. He also noted it was unacceptable the payment never went Land he would over night the payoff. I did appreciate that he took note of the mistake but it still didn't justify the poor customer service. I would like to be compensated
