Although we had signs outside the door that said no soliciting. We had a door-to-door salesman for Kirby Vaccum come by my father has dementia and he engaged in the contract with Kirby vacuum. As soon as I realized what had happened the same day. I contacted Kirby and the vendors and told them that I was not interested in the vacuum. At that time they contacted the salesman he then called me on the phone which is the number my father gave him and my social security number. The gentleman started sending me inappropriate messages to seduce me and to keep the vacuum. I was told to return the vacuum back via mail however the gentleman came over the next day and took the contract. It made me very uncomfortable that he came back to my house. I contacted Kirby and let them know that he had taken the contract. I have paperwork documentation, pictures and emails. I even contacted the corporate office to get this settled I just want to send them back I have been working on my credit for too long to have it injured by a vacuum cleaner that I did not sign up for. I have been talking to merchants acceptance and they have been very rude and I've gotten frustrated. I please ask to help me I just would like to send their vacuum back to them it is sitting in my garage as we have hardwood floors I gave them the information I would have to press charges on my father in order for them to investigate. I did contact the corporate office of Kirby and I was told that the gentleman had already been Resolution Sought I would like to send them their vacuum cleaner back as I've asked from the beginning. I did not sign up for this contract. They took advantage of my father because of his disability

Merchants Acceptance Corp. (MAC) has completed several investigations in to this consumers claims and has determined there is no validity to any of the claims the customer is asserting. In fact the consumer relations department at Kirby WHQ completed an independent 3rd party investigation into this matter and it was determined that there was no basis or validity to any of the customers claims. We have on file, text messages that the customer sent to the owner of the Kirby distributorship that prove the polar opposite of what the customer is claiming and in fact it was the customer that was sending inappropriate messages to the salesperson. The customer signed a contract for financing of this purchase, verified the terms of the financing with MAC the day of the sale and did not properly cancel per the terms of the contract and in fact messaged the seller after the right to cancel that they did not want to cancel. There is no basis to accommodate the customers desire resolution and the customer is responsible for the performance of the contract.
