National grid put in a kv2c meter at my house which is intended for an industrial building! They said they installed this meter due to us having a barn. The amount of consumption for our home and barn are well under the limit of having a normal residential meter. They also have tacked on a meter multiplier of 40 stating that is standard, which it is not! There are specific calculations to determine the multiplier there is no standard one! Our bill is double everyone else around that is comparable. We also only have electric no heating with them. They did put on a meter in test black box on our meter and will not give me the read on it, or allow me to talk to the technicians who do that. I have requested them to change out this commercial meter with a normal residential one and they will not, even though they just put this meter in last year. They also gave me 50 different reasons the multiplier was at 40 with absolutely no answer being the same( they don't understand this meter reason why they shouldn't have them in place). I also had an electrician come look and he was shocked they even put on this type of meter! I should also state one of there own employees who came to look at the meter and make sure it was functioning said that meter multiplier was super high and not correct! Resolution Sought Replace the meter, give the correct amount of consumption from the reader they had on and deduct the overcharging they have done!

National grid shut our power off yesterday, for non payment of 288.00, I paid this amount at Kinney drugs in ogdensburg ny, I emailed the receipt to national grid as their supervisor told me to do , I also called them back, they told me it could take up to 24 hours to turn it back on, they had to wait until our payment posted which could take up to an additional 24 hours after it posted to our account I told them I was disabled which I am , they wanted me to contact my Dr. After hours to tell them I am disabled I refused my rights are being violated I don't have to tell them anything about my health issues also their supervisor told me I could have this expedited by paying an additional fee which I feel they were trying to black mail me, I have a freezer full of meat and a large fish tank the longer it takes them to turn the power on the more in danger I have of losing both, I feel they are just jerking me around because I am arguing with them. I threatened to go to channel 7 News and the attorney general office, so I know they will take as long as possible to get the power back on just to show me they have the power, I paid this amount around 4 pm they said they were open until 9 pm but our reconnect order has to come from the back office ok so do it in these days of computers it's just a click of a button , I know people who owe them thousands of dollars and they aren't disconnected also my rights were violated because I never received a payment agreement, Resolution Sought Turn the power on asap, and I think they owe me an apology and they should expedite getting the power back to people without charging them an extra fee,
