Contracted to company install install attic fan. Product did not last 48 hours. After 32 days home owner replace attic fan himself. It took me 30 minutes to replace attic fan. I did get refunded back for bad fan. Agreed work charge was $425. Bad fan refund $140.65. Since he did not return $285.00. Resolution Sought It took me 30 minutes to replace attic fan. Company Response


Customer damage fan and tried to say we did it. We where willing to come out at a later cooker date to help troubleshoot or replace but customer hire someone else which void out contact to do work and try to make us responsible. Here are the text messages that I was able to retrieve there where phone calls as well but they where not recorded. Please let me know if more is needed Thanks this is what we have. Consumer states; After seeing the response of the Contractor "NB Electric Co." I called the manufacture of the attic fan" Air Vent Co." (1-800-247-8368). Their response of my adjusting the temperature controls demaged the product is unreasonable. This would mean everytime I I needed to change control temps I would have to call a electricial. I did not hire someone to replace I did myself. Yes there were phone calls, but not to set a date for return. He did his work June 18 valid through July 18 2019. I purchased the replacement attic fan July 24, 2019.

As stated before we where willing to help customer with repairs but on a cooler date it was 100 degrees weather and even higher. Customer voided contract a few ways, kept adjusting fan once it was set in recommended setting by manufacturer and and the way ; also by hiring someone else. Customer signed contract below with attached terms and conditions: All service calls are subject to service fee, "fixed fee", overhead, profit percentage including in estimate or invoice according to job and or job conditions. The electric company assumes no responsibility for damages to person or property caused by operation, adjustment, or repair of appliance after serviceman leaves said appliance, apparatus and related components in manufacturers written warranty only. All labor performed By NB Electric Company LLC is warranty for 30 days or is otherwise indicated in writing...
