Overcharge, insurance fraud, and scammers

I was informed that I had a few cavities that needed to be filled(Mr. Helf) I went in to get them filled and four days later I was in such terrible pain that I could barely function. I decided to go back and have the cavity looked at by another dentist in the same office. He adjusted the fillings and replaced one. One week later, I was experiencing even more pain, so I went back several more times after (11 times) and finally last Friday I was informed that my tooth had an infection and that I needed a root canal. They quoted me $1,138 out of pocket and my insurance company would cover $600. So, in total my root canal would cost $1,738.00. Not only were they over charging me but they were committing insurance fraud. They were charging my insurance company and having me cover the entire amount so they could pocket the entire amount. I decided to get a different opinion, $375-$500 out of pocket for me. Newport Beach Dental Associates are complete scammers.
