I have become a new donor for Octapharma plasma in the Tyler Tx location 526 E Front St, Tyler, TX 75702. As of my last actual donation I was stuck in my arm improperly I was left to bleed for a few minutes. As I tried to point out that my arm was blood dripping from it. The specialist proceeded to ignore me. An when she finally came over she then proceeded to blame me. When I had done nothing wrong. In the process of attempting to switch arms she then starting detaching the tubes with the needle still in my arm. Causing the tubes to spill my own blood all over me. She then made the comment to me. At least it is my own blood. I managed to finish that donation surprisingly. I then overheard her say I would not be back next week. I returned the next week to donate where upon. Going to do my vitals the person checking me seemed annoyed with me. She began to drop things and improperly poke my finger. An did everything she could to anger me. It is my belief that she did this to raise my pulse so they could defer me. Upon going to retake my vitals. She Began to move excessively slow and started dropping things again. An then her comment was Uh-Oh when my pulse had shot up. Obviously from the fact that she was being extremely unprofessional. An it was upsetting me. Then I was told I could not donate for that day. It is more than obvious to me this was done intentionally. An I would like this to be brought to attention. Lisa was the name of the specialist that made me blead. Resolution Sought For the company to penalize these kinds of actions. An ensure that they don't happen again.

Center Management reviewed this issue with the Donor and assured him that the screening measurements that we are taking are accurate. The Donor was invited to come in and meet with Center Management in person so they can show him the service that all donors deserve. The Donor said he would come back in the center very soon.

I was contacted by the center manager. I explained that my health is in prime condition. So there could be no way that the screening results could make sense. I asked if he needed me to get clarification from a primary physician to verify. My healthy condition to donate I would be willing to do so. He told me he would like to meet in person to discuss a solution to the situation. That he would call me back on the 12th of February 2024 to arrange that meeting. I am still waiting for that call back to hopefully resolve this issue for good. He assured he would like to see me return to donate. An hopefully he will assist me with this.

Talked with donor 24Feb24. As instructed before I have asked the donor to come back in and we would evaluate his arm for bruising and whether his arms have healed to where he can start donating again. Henry stated he would be in 15Feb24, where we can evaluate him and see if his arms are suitable to donate.

They have signs posted on payment amounts and it's all lies when I ask manager why I'm not getting proper pay they have no idea and do nothing to help fix it!! I will never return to this company for false advertising. Resolution Sought They need to make signage more clear on how payments truly work and educate employees how to explain in regular words not in ways people who don't work there will never understand.

Donor fee tier schedule is posted in center. This scale is based on how much plasma is drawn (determined by factors such as the donor's hematocrit level and weight) and how many times the Donor has donated within the past 35 days from the CURRENT donation date. If the Donor states they are not receiving an understandable explanation from an employee on the donor floor, they always have the option to speak with Center Management. They will be more than happy to explain how the payment scale works. We value our donors, and do not want them to be frustrated with feeling like they cannot get an answer from us.
