I ordered a desk on August 20,2020 from OfficeStarStore.com a Peazz.com Company. The desk was never delivered and I have requested a refund. They are refusing to refund my money. I have reported them to the BBB, the Consumer Protection Agency in Los Angeles, California, and just last week to the Federal Trade Commission fraud investigation department. I am planning to file a report with the California Attorney Generals Office next. I have found that Peazz.com is using a bogus or false address in California to conduct their e-commerce sales online. I an going to find out where they are located --- I think that it may be India. I see that they are ripping off a lot of Americans. They are elusive and without customer service. I ordered an Uttermost Clock (important info for later) on July 9, 2021. Got an email confirming order, but no shipping/delivery date. One red flag is that the amount was charged to my credit card immediately (Aug 12th), not when it shipped, as is usually done for legitimate online orders. I waited until August 10th to contact 'company' to inquire about the status of my order. Got a response about COVID crap & their warehouse being closed until Aug 17th. Waited until the 18th to once again inquire about status of my order and got another canned response about their warehouse being closed until Sept 5. See where this is going? This is the clincher. Uttermost direct ships from its own warehouse. I know. I'm a designer & have done this many times for my clients in the past. This is a scam company. Called my CC company to get a chargeback. They agreed that this is a suspicious outfit, and put my fraud request through. When the 'company' realized I was on to them (with pics of their house ~ not warehouse) & these complaints on this site, they sent me a text & email that they would refund my money. Duh. My CC company already put in the fraud report. I suggest you get redress from these scammers that way. 'David' is a grifter. No Doubt. Resolution Sought Close down, and be fined by the State of California for running a grift. The FTC should also get involved. Am pursuing that outcome as well.
