Very late being paid

I am NH based and was hired as a contractor to shoot a project for Web.com and Flooring America. Terms were payment 60 days from invoice which was on 10/8/14. It is now 12/31/14 and no payment has been received despite being told that the check was going out the week of Christmas. Update 1/2/15. Payment arrived today with much relief after 93 days, however a very bad taste has been left in my mouth. The methods in which they process invoices and how it takes so long is very odd while also maddening. Despite this issue, communication and working relationship with the creative side was good.
