Treat people better who are only interested in finding out how their loved ones are doing .
My father Candelario Salaiz was admitted on May 11 or 12, 2020 I am his biological daughter I called the ICU 2 and spoke to Peter at 12:30 to ask him about my fathers condition. He was very rude and told me only one person was allowed to get any information and that was his stepson and that we had to get any information from him that he couldn't give out any information on my dad and we had to get it from the stepson. That after me would be another then another calling and they don't have the time to be talking to everyone who called . I don't know the stepson nor do we have each other's numbers. Then Peter says to me how do I know your really his daughter? I said how can I prove it we're not allowed to go see him then I gave him details about my dad his medical history his date of birth what he looks like and he still persisted in pretty much saying I could be anybody, then he put me on hold and never returned to the phone I waited 10 minutes. This is appalling and so unprofessional the amount of time he took pretty much of accusing me of lying about who I was he could have just told me how my dad was doing. This is unacceptable I called the Administrator to also report him. I understand at this time it's rough but that is no reason to treat family members like this. I still have yet to hear what is happening with my dad. I hope other patients family members who call are not treated this way. Just so unacceptable! Barbara Goddard

This receptionist needs ADA training, mental health training and a new job away from the public.
Taking my 7 year old son to Pomona valley Hospital (urgent care) chino hills. I've taken him 3 different times with over 2 hour wait each time with out being seen. I told the receptionist Amanda my son can't breathe and is in bad shape. She was rude and continued to let other people in before us. 2 separate patients said they new her and she was the hook up to get in over people. My 7 year old was repeatedly passed over. When I confronted her over this in a polite manner she told me my wait time just went up 2 hours. I'm a cancer patient also an amputee and she said that's not my problem you'll have to wait even longer. I'm disgusted by my treatment and my sons treatment. The other patients in the lobby even acknowledged this women was out of control.
