Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

There are two parts to this complaint. 1.) On March 31, 2022 I entered one of the Quest Diagnostics offices in Bonita Springs, Florida for some basic lab work. The tech that drew blood (Nadia) in Room 3 missed the vein which caused severe damage to the arm. I went to Urgent Care and they confirmed that a hematoma resulted from the needle. 2.) To make matters worse, Quest received full payment from Medicare, however, Quest erroneously sent me the same bill after they received full payment on May 5, 2022, according to Medicare Claims department. The obvious mistake made by Quest could not be resolved after I spoke to Quest billing on five different occasions. As a result, Quest sent the bill to a Collections agency, and now Quest will not correct the error made by their billing. It is clearly illegal for Quest to be paid twice for the same exact service. Medicare has stated that this has been a known problem at Quest Diagnostics. Resolution Sought A letter from Quest Billing stating that Medicare and Cigna Supplemental insurance have made full payment for services rendered on 3-31-2022. Also, that I have zero patient responsibility due to Quest receiving payment on May 5, 2022.

I have spent almost two years trying to resolve this bill. I had health insurance coverage with True Health NM for these lab tests but was charged non insured price, disregarding what True Health has repeatedly stated is my responsibility. I have sent the EOB several times and completely ignored and had my account turned over to a collection agency. Resolution Sought I would like Quest Diagnostic to honor my insurance and charge me correctly.
